“Preparing for a Personal Resurrection”

Those of us who want to claim Christ consciousness must fully face ourselves – both our shadow and our Divinity. Jesus said it like this: “Whoever would be my disciple, let him take up his cross and follow me.” This is an Aramaic (Jesus’ spoken language) figure of speech.
According to the mystic Gurdjieff, “Personal transformation (which is the route to Christ consciousness) is a kind or rebirth.” Then he continued, “If you want to be reborn, you must be willing to die to the limited being you thought you were. And the only way to die to that being is to wake up to the limitations you have placed on yourself.”
Or, as Joseph Campbell once said, “If you want resurrection, you must first have crucifixion.”
This workshop will begin shortly after services on April 13. Bring a snack/beverage, if you choose. In-person service attendees, register for the workshop on the form provided on the front table. If you usually attend church virtually, you may join us for this IN-PERSON ONLY WORKSHOP without pre-registering. Just join us on Sunday April 13 at noon.
